Wildflower and Birding Experience
You’re Invited to Join Us for a Wildflower and Birding Experience Led by Annette Naber and Anne Doll at Fort Lewis Lodge.
Please join us on Saturday, September 12 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 Noon at Ft. Lewis Lodge in Millboro for a wildflower and birding experience.

Annette Naber will help you find and identify wild edible and medicinal plants as we meander through the meadows and along the river. She leads forest bathing experiences, teaches foraging for edible and medicinal plants, and recently published her first book, Seasons of a Wild Life. Books will be available for purchase.

Anne Doll will assist with locating birds along the way during this exciting migration season. We will look and listen for birds in several habitat areas, and she will show us some tools for identifying birds we may not even know we are with! Anne is a Virginia Master Naturalist and a member of the CRPA Board.
Please dress for the woods and weather, wear sturdy shoes, and bring water, sunscreen, and bug repellent. Please be sure to bring binoculars. Bathrooms will be available.
